how it all started
1027 Dance started in Miss Delaney’s basement in 2020 with just 3 students after a life-long dream of having her own dance studio. In 2021, 1027 Dance moved to it’s first commercial location in the Avalon Ballroom in downtown Reedsburg. After quickly outgrowing the first location, 1027 Dance found it’s new home on East Main Street in a 5,000 sq/ft building, complete with a spacious waiting room, a huge studio capable of holding two classes at a time and 3 bathrooms.
Why 1027?
Delaney wanted something simple and crisp for the name of her studio… nothing too cute or fussy. But something with a personal touch. So why not her birthday, October 27th?? Get it? 10/27… And that is where 1027 Dance came from!

Delaney Oakes
Hi, I'm Miss Delaney, owner, director, and head instructor at 1027 Dance! I am blessed to be going into my 6th season as a studio owner and 11th year as a dance teacher! I started dancing at age 3 and quickly fell in love. I've trained in jazz, ballet, tap, lyrical, contemporary, hip hop, musical theatre, and gymnastics and have dance at Disneyworld, the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, Broadway Dance Center. I am also the Head Coach of the RAHS Dance Team. I am quite literally living the dream and feel so grateful every single day! I'm pumped to start the summer season!

Tiffany Strauss
My name is Miss Tiffany and I’m so excited to be teaching at 1027 Dance. I grew up in Reedsburg from the time I was 10 years old until graduating high school in 2004. I studied musical theatre and dance at UW Green Bay many years ago. My dream was to dance/sing on Broadway in NYC. Life took me on my own journey and I ended up having a career as a nurse. Today, I am a home health nurse and live in Reedsburg with my husband and 3 kids. I have been active in theatre the past few years with Reedsburg Players, but I am so excited to come back to dance and share my love of musical theatre and dance with everyone!

Chloe Schultz
I’ve been dancing for 18 years, including being a member of the 1027 Dance competition team since it started in 2021. I have found my passion for teaching through assisting classes and subbing for Delaney. I currently attend UW-LaCrosse for Elementary Education and cannot wait to continue my passion and love for dance by teaching during the summers!
